Does PS4 needs internet connection

I will buy a ps4 this year and I do not have an internet connection. I want to buy a ps4 but I do not have an internet connection and I want to ask if the ps4 will play games without internet connection.

Yes you can use it without internet but you won't be able to use all its features or get updates automatically.

A lot of games need a day zero patch to operate correctly (these days, most of the popular titles will have unplayable missions or serious glitches)
