[SOLVED] Does Radeon software automatically delete the old files when redownloading it?

My adrenaline software wouldnt update to the 20.7.2 version that just came out. So I downloaded the software again from the website without clearing out the old files. Will adrenaline automatically delete the old patch/files? Its about 400mb for the file, does that mean i have 800mb of adrenaline software due to redownloading it?
Windows 10 btw.

the downloaded files won't auto-delete, just erase then from your downloaded folder when done
