Does RAM limit your computer's download capacity?

So, say that my pc has 8 GB of RAM, then does that mean i can only install three games or programs that each take up 2 GB of RAM? Or is that up to your hardrive's storage space?

That;s your HDD/SSD storage space. RAM should have very minimal bearing on your download ability/capacity, other than for accessing websites etc from which you'd download. .

8GB of RAM has nothing to do with storage. You could have 1GB of ram, and sitll download software that is 3-4GB.

Also, the only way each software will take up to 2GB a piece is it you run them at the same time.
