Once it gets into wider use it may be of small help in some cases, nothing to base whole system on or pay extra for it.

Might depend on the hardware and what sort of stuff your running.
Try it see what the results are.

Depends.
What is the hardware involved?

It is simply a cache between RAM and HDD, to use some storage device that is potentially faster than an HDD.
And only if you're short on RAM.

Solution....add more physical RAM.
