Question Does resetting my motherboard reset windows and all of my files?

another side question, every time i update my msi drivers it messes up my whole computer, ethernet and sound settings which i then have to reset back to the settings of a previous date. But now i can't play games which uses peer to peer online connections like gta so now my only option is to factory reset my mobo bios. If any one has a better idea i would be thrilled to look at it but for now. Cheers. Btw my motherboard is the x370 carbon pro with a ryzen 1700x

This doesn’t make sense. Drivers have nothing to do with BIOS settings. You should be making sure all drivers are up to date, nothing else. And don’t reset back to a previous date unless something has actually gone wrong.
