Does ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING AMD motherboard need BIOS update for Ryzen 2700x?

I plan on upgrading my PC with a new motherboard so I can upgrade my CPU. But I've been seeing warning messages about how certain motherboards needs a BIOS update to make more current gen CPUs run smoother. I need to know if my selections will run without a bios update or not.

And if it does how do I go about doing this?

I am currently planning on purchasing both from amazon, but that might change in the future.

Gaming mainly, reason why I buy something stronger than recommended is so it'll last me a minimum of five years before I have to upgrade again.

2600 will serve you well, 2700x is almost doubled price for just 2 more cores. However, if you really want 2700X, get X470 MB too.

Note those new MB’s are AM4 Socket, does not fit FX cpu. I will buy cpu and motherboard together, you will also need ddr4 ram.
