Alright Guys , so i will be building myself a new PC with a ryzen 3 2200g within the next few days. The technician of the shop from which i will be buying all my components is telling me not to buy this processor. He says that the Cpu will run too hot and i should buy i3 8100 instead. So i want the advice of y'all.

Yes the integrated GPU is the main reason why i am buying this. Up until today i hadn't even thought about overheating and stuff although i had researched a bit about the Ryzen stock cooler to see if i can OC with it or not and in almost every review it performed well. But today when the guy at the shop told me that the 2200g would overheat, i decided to do some research on this too. When i googled this , i came across some people who were actually having some problems with the CPU temps. A guy said he can't even play Dota 2 as when he starts the game the CPU already starts touching 80C and as a result starts stuttering and throttling.

That's why i wanna hear from u guys to see if u too are facing such issues and if u are then i will think about buying the i3. The Ryzen will be useless for me if it overheats cause then it will stutter and i wont be able to play any game.

So long as you factor in good cooling, you will be alright...The stock Wraith might not be good enough, so if you want to go ahead look for a better cooler or even a AIO water cooler to go with it. My brother lives in India and has the same problem but he is now using a H100i Corsair cooler and no problems...

What kind of problems was your brother having? was the Processor overheating even at stock speeds?

Temps where my brother lives hit 40 degrees + C reguarly and his CPU had a stock cooler, you have to remember its not just the heat but the humidity and then the case with the fans just blowing hot air in. Once he changed to a AIO he had no crashes or random shut downs during gaming...Now other things might also be involved but just letting you know what happened to him. He has a i5 -4690K...PS not sure what TDP his was...

ElectrO_90 is right , i dont think it will overheat without any OC. I will keep the CPU at stock setting first and monitor the temps. If i dont see any overheating , i will trying Overclocking it. Also Thanks everyone for taking your time to reply to me thread. :)

Thx for the advice. i will keep that in mind. :)
