Does SLI help with video editing with Amateur Video Editing Programs

I just read that SLI will require the games to be able to utilize the SLI connected graphics cards. If you are running a video editing program, such as Premier Elements, Premier Pro, or CyberLink Power Director, could two $100.00 Nvidia cards out perform a single $200.00 Nvidia card? Has anybody done this?

Only certain games support SLI. If you play an unsupported game on an SLI setup, it'll just use one GPU.

In video production, SLI versus a single GPU is irrelevant. Video editing and rendering is CPU dependent, so the only thing that changes from an SLI setup versus a single GPU setup is gaming performance.
