Does Smart Connect enable MU-MIMO?

Possibly a stupid question but my routher TP-LINK C5400 has options to enable MU-MIMO on each 5g band individually or to enable a setting called smart connect which gives me one SSID for all three bands (This hides my other options).

Does smart connect enable MU-MIMO automatically? is this the best way to go?

What does the host device support? What is the WiFi card/dingle?
