Does Streaming use VRAM?

Im pretty sure it does as OBS settings seem to use some kind of GPU hardware encoding.Im currently using NVEC or whatever its called,ya know the nvidia thingy.

question is does streaming have a serious impact on VRAM usage?

NVENC is provided by the NVIDIA video card. I'm sure OBS is using plenty of system ram, but yes, it also uses VRAM (which means less used on the system). I couldn't tell you how much impact there is, but I've found better OBS results using NVENC instead of other CODECs.
