Yes. The "X" chips are boxed with the Wraith Spire cooler & 'non-X' chips come with the standard (revised) wraith cooler.

The 1500X does, the 1600X, 1700X, and 1800X do not come with a cooler.

Barty1884 - please submit documentation to back up your claim. According to pcpartpicker.com all of the 95W X chips come WITHOUT a CPU Cooler.

My bad - misunderstanding* along the way. It is only the 1500X that ships with a cooler (of the "X" variety anyway).

*I'd seen a lot of tests done on them, with the "included" coolers - but they were clearly 'included' with other chips.
