Hello people of this wonderful forum. basically i'm not to good with computer components etc, and i would appreciate it if you guys/girls could tell me if these components are compatible with each other, if they are not it would be great if you could link me something that would be.

Or if you think that these components are not a good mach what would you buy for around £1500.

List of components below

Thanks a lot for any help.

They will all work together but is there any reason why you would choose a hexa core processor over a quad core. If you are just planning to game, do some light rendering or stream a Quad Core should be plenty.

Where's the SSD? WD Blue with a 5820k and a gtx 1080?? Hmm.. Depending on what you want it for, you probably wont need 6 cores. SLI GPU and NVME SSD would probably be more beneficial. I persoanlly wouldn't choose the x99 chipset or lga 2011-3 socket right now, not even for broadwell-e chips. You'd be better off with Skylake/Kaby Lake unless you want all those cores for a particular reason.

He already has 2 ssd's in his old computer that i will have moved into his new build, I thought the 6 cores would be better as he streams and does quite a bit rendering

I'm going to be honest here i literally don't have a clue with all these components If you guys think it would be better for him to use a quad core i will get him one of them instead.
