Does the 6700K work with the ASUS Z270 motherboards (i.e. Maximus IX Hero) out of the box?

For the ASUS Z270 Motherboards, do they need a BIOS update to work with the 6700K or not? Thanks.

The 200 series is all backward compatible. No bios update needed.

Any Z270 board will work out-of-box with any SkyLake and KabyLake CPU, including 6700K.
