Does the Asus Prime B450M-A support memory with 3600 Mhz?

I flashed the latest bios update.

My CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X.

Thank you!

Solution
Asus Prime B450M-A supports up to 4400Mhz RAM
Your CPU supports up to 3200Mhz so OC RAM at 3600Mhz may require you to manually enter SPD values in Bios.

Thank you!

Ok, just to be on the safe side I'd buy 2x 16 GB of RAM.

Right now I have 3x 8 GB RAM at 2400 Mhz.

How much is the difference in percentage?

Thank you!

Your best bet is to get a single kit the size you need at a frequency both the CPU and MB support . Chosen from the MB QVL that are tested and known to work.

You will pay more for OC RAM with tight CL Timings and if the frequency is beyond JDEC standards there is no guarantee you will reach the rated frequency.

"Difference in percentage" Do you mean performance wise?

Yes, performance wise. Anyway, the local vendor offers DDR4 Hyperx Fury at 3200 Mhz.

I'd need to buy 2x 16 GB, because that's the best offer.

By the way, which program do I use to benchmark my machine?

Run this and post a link to the results page.
PC Benchmark

It will test a few areas and give an idea if something needs help.
Before you run it reboot and let the machine sit for 5 mins then run the benchmark.

Performance wise very little when gaming. More RAM allows for faster video editing or rendering large 3D CAD files. (2x8) is all you need for AAA gaming.
Just check your Hyperx Fury are listed on the MB QVL.

Your local vendor don't offer much does he?

One benchmark is UserBench that beginners like or AIDA64 for the more professional stress testing app.
