No. XMP is exclusive to Intel CPUs. That MoBo, in other hand supports only AMD CPUs. But MoBo does support AMD EXPO (equivalent to Intel XMP),does this motherboard support the xmp feature in bios
oh yeah i see. I'm going to pair this mobo with a ryzen 5 4500 and hyperx fury 16gb 3200mhz kit. Will this cpu support amd EXPO?No. XMP is exclusive to Intel CPUs. That MoBo, in other hand supports only AMD CPUs. But MoBo does support AMD EXPO (equivalent to Intel XMP),

Read under "memory". Those Mhz that have "(OC)" behind it, are all EXPO profiles MoBo supports.
By default, it can do up to 3200 Mhz DDR4,Will this cpu support amd EXPO?
Of course it supports XMP, Asus BIOS calls it DOCP. With DDR4. EXPO is just marketing. With that CPU it would be limited to 3200MHz tho. .oh yeah i see. I'm going to pair this mobo with a ryzen 5 4500 and hyperx fury 16gb 3200mhz kit. Will this cpu support amd EXPO?
yeah, I'm just concerned about the ram not running at 3200Mhz by default, I don't want to overclock them i just want to use the full speeds of the ram.Of course it supports XMP, Asus BIOS calls it DOCP. With DDR4. EXPO is just marketing. With that CPU it would be limited to 3200MHz tho. .
By definition, XMP is overclock over base speed, generally with DDR4 it's anything over2133MHz. XMP, as invented by Intel is just set pf rules, written in memory module for BIOS to pick up and make settings for RAM's performance, Frequency, latency, voltage etc what that particular RAM manufacturer tested and deem best that RAM could do. AMD also picked up on it and BIOS versions were made to conform to it albeit with some possible modifications. AMD with new AM5/7000 series processors made some modiications to IMC which with DDR5 RAM may reqire different settings for nest performance and som RAM manufacturers included them in what they now call EXPO but has essentially same role as XMP.yeah, I'm just concerned about the ram not running at 3200Mhz by default, I don't want to overclock them i just want to use the full speeds of the ram.
