Does the Asus TUF Sabertooth pair with the fx8350 right out of the box?

Hello, I need to buy a new mobo to replace a broken one that didn't pair with my AMD fx8350, and I was recommended this one.

However closer inspection revealed that users were required to update the BIOS so that the board may properly interact with the fx8350 cpu.

Is this mobo not compatible right out of the box? I'm looking for a mobo that is both compatible with the fx8350 and gtx970. I do not want to go through that extra hassle of having to flash update the BIOS or whatever.

In others words, can I buy this mobo and have it already be compatible with my fx8350 right out of the box — no extra work required?

Yeah the SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 will work right out the box you were reading about the Sabertooth 990fx not R2.0 so you'll be fine
