I have almost that exact system. When I first built it I didn't check ram compatibility. I had a weird error were 1/3 of the time it wouldn't detect the ram and I'd have to do a hard restart to get it to boot. So be very careful to check what ram has been tested with the board and cpu. I ended up replacing the ram with a recommended build.
My other advice is it is a cheap board, but it's a cheap board. You may want to consider $30 more for the gaming plus or a little more for the carbon or tomhawk just so you have some room to build. I haven't had any problems but I find myself wishing it had more pci slots or sata channels.
Also your psu could be beefier. I have a 850 gold. I run 1 sdd 2 hdd a DVD drive 6 fans and I oc the ram and cpu occasionally. I usually run around 600 off the psu so having 250 extra gives me plenty of stability.
