Question Does the B650 Aorus Elite Pro work with G.skill Flare RAM?

Saw some people a while back posting that this particular version of RAM may not be compatible with the motherboard, but also seeing others saying it works just fine on reviews. I don’t see it as a supported RAM on Gigabyte’s website. Does anyone know if this RAM is safe for this motherboard/why?

I would have answer for you but they don't have a Aorus Elite Pro listed in the model column
if its on neither, I don't think I would risk it.

Wish I wasn’t so dumb sometimes. I already have the RAM shipped and on its way, I had switched the motherboard and pcpartpicker didn’t show any issues. It’s covered by Newegg holiday return policy, but I’m debating whether or not I should just use the ram or send it back.

It’s strange, it seems to be listed as compatible on the g skill website even as QVL? Why would it only be listed on that website but not Gigabyte’s? -Btw sorry I said pro, it’s B650 AORUS ELITE AX

Mobo makers can not test every ram that is on the market so their QVL is just a snapshot.

Ok gotcha. But since it’s listed on the RAM’s website on the compatibility thing then it should be ok then?

Yes it should. I personally have never used the QVL list and bought on specs and price and have never gotten incompatible ram.
