Does the core i5 4440 bottleneck the GTX 1060 in new games like shadow of the tomb raider, Battlefield V, Shadow of War and new upcoming games?

Solution
Not all games are the same in requirements. Keep this in mind. Some games, like the Tomb Raider game, are brutal on videocards. Some games, like a fully loaded multiplayer round of the newest Battlefield games, are brutal on the CPU.

In your case, with a 4 core/4 thread CPU, the CPU demanding games will not do as well. You should still be able to play them but in certain situations you can expect your framerate to drop and it won't be due to the videocard. In games like the Tomb Raider game you should see pretty good performance at 1080p.

More games are coming out that'll use more cores or threads if you have them. At some point you'll probably start to feel your CPU holding you back but it's impossible to same when exactly that'll...
