Does the Cpu cooler occupy a fan slot?

Hi there. I was wondering whether or not a fan cpu cooler (not a liquid cooler) would occupy one of the slots im supposed to put in the fans that cool the case. A cpu liquid cooler would occupy one, right? Help. Ty

Well Yes if you have 120mm radiator it will occupy a fan slot if you have 240mm will need 2 fan slots etc., but normal CPU cooler as it comes to let's say with Intel CPU box or AMD CPU box those don't occupy any slots on the case, and what CPU Cooler you have?

Well its a good cooler but you don't have to get that one, that one is a dual heat sink one. Do you know that on that cooler you can add 3 fans, crazy ah?! One in mid, one on front and one on the back, you can make that one be a real freezer for CPU. Only if you have space make all measurements check it online how long, wide and all side all those cm must be calculated good, except if you have some huugee case. So what CPU are you cooling?

No the heat sink has its own fan and again no it does not occupy any case fan slots, and it has just 1 x 4pin connector for you to plug it in CPU fan and that's it, install it plug the fan on it and that's it, no slots are taken on your CASE.

They called them sandwich heatsinks double the fan goes in-between 2 heatsinks and its very good Cooler

you see here how the fan is in middle, it's a double heatsinked ( sandwich ) so-called.
