I want to paint the aluminum plates of my GTX 780 reference card Red to match my color scheme of my upcoming PC build.

I do have Red spray paint lying around but on the can it states that it should not be exposed to temps higher than 50℃. Does the aluminum plates of a GTX 780 get above 50℃? If it does is plastidip a better solution, will it looks equal or even better than spray paint?
The GPU is a bit old, i'm buying it from a friend of mine

The case i use is the Corsair Carbide Spec-01
With intake fans mounted on the front (2x120mm)
and out fans mounted 1 in the back 1 at the top (both 120mm) this leaves one open space in the top fan mounts to ballance the airflow
The PSU will be placed fan facing down

Thanks in advance

I expect that temperature refers to the CAN of paint, the cured product should be able to handle much higher temps than that. I assume you are referring to the aluminum shroud since this is a reference card, yes, they do get warm but not excessively so, you should be fine.
