does the fan need replacing??

loud grinding noise coming from the fan area acer aspire 5349-2418. I think its the fan so I am going to replace it but just want to get a second opinion. also its not getting warm air is barely coming out. other than that loud noise im not having any problems

Yes, that's need to be replaced asap. U would take to a local store that handles computer repairs. I don't recommend using laptop in the meantime as the cooling is going to be ineffective.
