Question Does the IDG option in the BIOS work with a GPU Installed ?

I wanted to test my integrated graphics displayport. Can you configure the BIOS of the MSI Z690 Carbon mobo to use IDG while the GPU is installed. Will I able to use the motherboard ports?

What Processor are you working with? If your processor isn't an F SKU and you've got a panel to hook up to the DisplayPort or HDMI the yes it should be straightforward without any tinkering in BIOS needed.

I have an i9-12900KS. When I plug it into displayport on motherboard I get no display. Changing to IDG option in the bios activates the motherboard displayport. I now get a display with the motherboard displayport. If I have IDG multi monitor enabled, my main monitor is slaved to the GPU's displayport and any additional monitors would only be secondary monitors.
