I had a friend try to tell me that it does indeed have it built in, since it has a laser sensor. I couldn't find anything online that points to this. My mouse is snappy and responsive, anyone know if this specific mouse has it? thanks.

Solution
You can enable it and disable it in the logitech gaming software. However I've heard rumors that turning it off doesn't fully turn it off, but beyond that I'm not sure.

If you want a true zero acceleration gaming mouse, then check out the G402 Hyperion Fury.

All mice have "acceleration" built in, it's called a bandpass filter. Does the mouse have inconsistent response? No, it's perfectly good for run-and-gun, sniper, or RTS. Hell, it works great for spreadsheets and CAD too. (you don't know how awesome it is to have ctrl key bound to the fourth click button until you try it, especially for CAD where you need to ctrl-third click for panning and third click alone for rotating)
