For context, a couple months ago I went to build a new pc and bought the MSI A320M PRO-VH PLUS Motherboard and a Ryzen 3 3200g processor, well when I went to go power it on for the first time surprise surprise, no boot. Well I did some research and found out that I needed to update the bios but I didnt have another processor to do it. So I ended up just buying new parts and building another pc. But Now im wondering is it possible to boot up that pc without a CPU and use a USB to flash the bios to the correct version that supports the Ryzen 3 3200g? Because I know some motherboards support that but I cant find anything about this specific motherboard being capable of doing that.

Solution
No, it doesn´t support USB flashback.

It would be written in the manual or on the specification homepage of the board.
Also a USB flashback button would be needed on the rear panel of the motherboard , which is not implemented on this board.

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/A320M-PRO-VH-PLUS/Specification

e.g. these boards are supporting USB flashback:

You would need to get a compatible APU like these, to update the BIOS, if you don´t have a graphics card

Nope, but AMD will send you a loaner CPU boot kit for free to flash the Bios. See here.

Let us know how it goes!
