Does the MSI z87-g45 gaming motherboard need a graphics card??

I am replacing my motherboard, as my old one has failed, and I have decided to transform my PC into a Gaming PC, I will be getting a GPU in about a month or so, until then, will my PC work for basic things like Word, e-mail or facebook or not?? Thanks in advance for anyone who answers.... .

Yes, it will work without a GPU until you get one so that you can actually start gaming.
