Does the Nighthawk Router increase upload speeds and download speeds?

my current upload speed is .8 Mbps and download speed is around 20 Mbps, If i were to purchase a nighthawk router: http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-routers/R7000.aspx?cid=wmt_netgear_organic Would this increase my upload speeds?
