Does the nvidia sheild tablet need wifi to play games?

I was consittering getting an nvidia sheikd tablet after trying out my friends. I was wondering if i were to play games such as gta v, would i be able to play it in a place that i have no wifi, such as on a long flight?

Yes you will need WiFi if you want to play PC games on it because you will need to stream them from your PC.

It is an Android tablet so it cannot run Windows games / programs. You will only be able to play Android games when not streaming.
