does the PCI-E from the power supply go into the graphics card?

I have a antec 620w high current gamer and a gtx770 4gb, the gtx has two different parts to put the power in, so do I plug them both in?
Also the gtx has 8 pins to use each and the antec power cables has a 6 and a 2 in the same cable. Sorry if it does not make sense this is my first build

The ports to connect on the video card gets connected by the cables on the power supply it should have extra pins for you to use.

Cables this days on power supplies use 6+2 for video cards if it has 8 pins you hook them up together if its 6 you don't use the 2 extra. Some video cards include cables to help you out on that if you don't have any

Yes you have to plug in both parts or it won't turn on, and yes you just put in the 6+2 together

Yes you have to plug in both parts or it won't turn on, and yes you just put in the 6+2 together
