First of all , I saw this motherboard http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81M-DGS/ with a pcie 2.0 x16. But it was a latest chipset haswell family motherboard. Assuming I put a gtx 760 on this motherboard , does it work perfectly without any frame drop or anything while gaming ? (Assume I had a high end cpu)
Thanks in advance

PCIe 3.0 is fully backwards compatible with it's predecessor PCIe 2.0, so yes, your graphics card will work on that motherboard.
Now, are you planning on buying this , or have you already bought it?

(I'm going to assume you haven't bought it yet)
The thing with the H81 chipset is, that it is made for budget motherboards, it doesn't provide a lot of the features higher end chipsets provide.
For example, H81 only supports 2 DIMM (RAM) slots, single channel.
Well, this is probably sufficient, but since you're going to put a decent GPU in there and a supposedly high end CPU, I'd go for at least a H87 chipset motherboard.

But ofcourse, I don't know your budget, so feel free to ignore my advice ;)
