Does the Phanteks Eclipse P300 accept CPU coolers above 160mm?

I know this seems like a dumb question, but I have a strong feeling that it can't possibly be only that much.

I am planning to get a tall heatsink (about as tall as 175mm) to cool my system.
Originally, I was planning to get the Fractal Define C due to its small size, but it turns out that this case is even smaller.

Oddly enough, the dimensions say that this case is wider than the Define C, yet, the Define C somehow accepts 170mm CPU coolers!

So, to those who own this case, if you could investigate for a bit, I'd like to know: what really is the heatsink height limit of this case?

Thanks!

The biggest CPU cooler offered by Phanteks is PH-TC14PE and that one is 171mm tall (160mm without fans),
specs: http://www.phanteks.com/PH-TC14PE.html

Since you can move fans up and down on a heatsink or replace the fans with e.g 120mm ones, you can reduce the height of PH-TC14PE to below 170mm. No such luck with your Thermalright True Spirit 140 Power since the heatsink itself is 171.2mm tall,
specs: http://thermalright.com/product/true-spirit-140-power/

Though, your CPU cooler looks way too thin and i'd replace it with shorter and fatter one, e.g Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 (162.8mm),
specs: https://www.bequiet.com/en/cpucooler/482

or Scythe Fuma...

Or if you remove the TG side panel and never put it back on, you can put as tall CPU cooler into P300 as you like. While it may not look good and it destroys any airflow path inside your case, it is possible to install any sized CPU cooler in any case.

Oh, care to tell which CPU cooler you're planning to go for? I'd like to see that 175mm tall heatsink.

I do know that Phanteks mentioned 160mm, but I have doubts on that.
I currently own a Thermalright True Spirit 140 Power.
I was originally going to get a HAF XB, but I found out that I currently need a compct case.

And about the Phanteks, I think they purposely reduced the number.
Think about it: Their flagship heatsink is also 175mm in height.
If they reduced the actual height limit, it would encourage buyers to buy larger more expensive cases.
"If you want higher performance components, you also need a closure that can hold it."
(What I think Phanteks is thinking right now).

I do remember people talking about the same thing about another case, though I forgot which one.

Oh, i'd replace the Scythe's sleeve bearing fans with fluid-dynamic bearing fans (e.g Arctic F12 PWM PST).

Phanteks P300 is designed for low/medium-end systems though and in those, you won't see big CPU air coolers in use (160+mm).
The new Eclipse P300 continues to set new standards in quality for budget-friendly enclosures.
While if you had high-end system then you'd be looking towards Phanteks Enthoo Elite which has CPU cooler clearance of 210mm.
Built from premium materials that are engineered with utmost care and attention to detail.
