Does the R7 250/250X need a power connector ?

My PSU is 430watt But has no power connector for a graphics card.
I want to buy the R7 250 or 250X and i was wondering if its Okay to use it without a power connector ? ,Ricky

250 doesn't require power connector ,250x requires a 6 pin.

You be better off with a 750/750ti performance wise over a 250.

What PSU model is it exactly ??

I dont really know which one it is, but do you have an idea how i find out ? P.s. thanks, im gonna go for the r7 250 then ;D

Take your case side off mate & let us know the psy model number & 12v ampage - it will have a label with this on the side.

If its capable you can always use an adapter - the 250x is a lot better card than the 250 for only a few more $

My PSU isnt one that u can plug in an adapter

?? Pretty much all psu's will have at least 1 molex cable/connector spare (for old ide drives) - this is all you need.
