Question Does the Razer Viper Ultimate Mouse still come with protective tape at the bottom ?

I bought a Razer Viper Ultimate from Amazon. (The version without the dock).
First thing I noticed is that there was a tape over the original tape that seals the box.
Then I opened it and things inside did not seem to be arranged as new.

You can see it has a protective tape at the bottom. Mine did not.
Now maybe this video is old and the new versions don't come with this tape anymore.
But if yes, it was definitely used. So do the new versions still come with this protective tape?

That is difficult to answer.

So many manufacturers etc. are cutting back in any way possible to cut costs.

I regularly see such things with respect to packaging, protection, included components/items.....

If the mouse was sold to you as new and is definitely used then return the mouse to Amazon.

Do so as soon as possible.
