[SOLVED] Does the RGB wire and its controller need to be plugged in for the Wraith Prism cooler?

I'm installing the 3700x's stock cooler and don't care at all about RGB. I feel like this is a silly question but could anything go wrong if I simply don't plug the wires in for the RGB or RGB controller?
