Question Does the ROG XG32VQR freesync work with nvidia

I want to buy this monitor but I have a gtx 1080. I cannot find if this monitors freesync is compatible with nvidia. All the list I have looked at are old and I can't find updated ones. Any help would be appreciated.

I hope it does work. I know my gtx 1080 wont be able to run games at max 60fps on 1440p because of my cpu, but i still like this monitor
