Does the Samsung M2 Evo 970 pro 1tb ssd have any advantage over the Samsung m2 Evo 970 Plus 1tb ssd

The Plus appears to be faster yet the peo is more expensive. Anyone know why?

TBW, I think means terabytes written.
Each ssd nand block will have a limited number of read/rewrite cycles.
It used to be a factor when a ssd was 40gb. Now with 1tb drives you need to be in a high activity server environment to be concerned about endurance.
These drives will be long obsolete before they wear out.
Think 15 years.

Thanks Guys. That helps. Not not much of an advantage of the Pro then? if plus is cheaper and for regular files (not jumbo ones) seems to have a faster read speed go for that?

The plus drops to about 1300MB/s when you write more then it can hold in its buffer.
The Pro can write at about 3300 across the entire drive.
Reads are not effected by size on either drive.

So it all come down to the size of your files and budget.
