I want to upgrade my stock PC so I can play higher quality games. I am going to get an Nvidia 770 for my GPU but I dont want to bottleneck it. So I am planning to also buy the H61M-A by Asus. The thing is , apparently the i5-2320 wont support PCI-E 3.0 and I am wondering if this is true. Can you people help me out?

Solution
Hi, You will still be running at PCIE 2.0 which is more than sufficient for your GPU, even 8X would be sufficient. Only in extreme SLI/CFX is the bandwidth really necessary.

Okay, when you said "upgrade" thought you might have an existing system to carry over some parts from....

You'll need to increase the budget to build any kind of balanced system around a GTX770, more like 600--700 pounds...

AMD FX-4130, ASUS M5A99X EVO MB, Corsair 8Gb RAM, Western Digital Blue 500Gb, ASUS GTX770, Antec Thre Hundred case, Corsair CX600 PSU, LG DVD drive, Windows 7 Professional....

Ohh sorry I read that wrong, I have a Foxconn H61MXL-K as my motherboard, Nvidia GT 630, 600 watt psu, 8GB of RAM, 1.5TB HDD and Windows 7 Home Premium

What brand is the PSU? Just wondering. Plus I'd suggest getting another motherboard.
