Does the VGA differ with VGA (D-SUB)?

I want to upgrade my system with a new gpu which is Zotac GeForce GT 1030 2GB with VGA port edition and in the website it says that has a VGA (D-SUB) port.My question is if VGA differ with VGA (D-SUB).[My monitor only has an VGA port].

No. They are the same. VGA is the same as 15-pin D-SUB.
