Does there exist a Firewire (4- or 6-Pin) to USB or something similar?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to connect a piece of hardware to my pc but unfortunately it uses Firewire 6 pin (comes with a 4 pin converter) and my pc doesn't. So I'm wondering if there's a converter cable out there. I feel like I've exhausted the internet trying to look for one and they all end up being duds. Could be USB or even Thunderbolt, if that's an option.

Look for a firewire PCI or PCI-express card, depending on what kind of free slots you have on your motherboard.
