Does thermal paste matter?

I plan to get a Noctua NH-D14 and I was wondering I ther is any reason to get a different thermal paste than the one it comes with? (like artic silver thermal paste vs the Noctua NH-D14 stock thermal paste)

Standard paste is fine UNLESS you disturb it then you NEED new paste for a second application...

The thermal paste that comes with the noctua nh-d14 is some of the best around. And you get plenty enough if you need to refit the heatsink.
