Build Advice Does this build look fine to you?

What are you going to be using it for? If it's a gaming PC, then you would be better off with a Ryzen 2600 and GTX 1660Ti for gaming. Also, that CPU cooler won't be too good as it's so small. Either stick with the stock cooler, or take advantage of the case's watercooling support. How does this look:

This is the thing, I won't actually be using it for gaming at all, strictly music production and light to medium video editing with a few effects also the 2700x has really good multicore processing and I felt a 4GB graphic was cool as again I wouldn't be gaming at all

With the CPU Cooler also, would the one you suggested fit the mini itx case that I chose?

Ah right, then the 2700x is a good choice, with the 1050 Ti.
According to the case website: it supports any CPU cooler to a max height of 83mm. It also supports 1 fan (120mm) watercooling, or 2 fan (240mm) watercooling if you move the included bottom case fan up to the top slot. I'd recommend using watercooling as the small air coolers will not be enough for the 2700x at sustained load. Any of these will do: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/cpu-cooler/#W=10240

I clicked the link but it didn't display any products, if you are able to do the rebuild list again but with your choice of cpu cooler included, you would be a legend haha

For sure. Strange the link didn't work, but anyway:

Perfect man thank you!, As long you're happy this would all work in harmony and fit inside the RVZ03 case with no major issues then il purchase everything today👌🏽, much appreciated man you're a legend!

That's not gonna work.

The SilverStone Raven Z RVZ03 SFF mITX only has support for 3 120mm fans, it's a super slim model with no 240mm access and 83mm clearance for cpu cooler.

So the build itself is decent (the ML240L isn't the best model, the ML240R is considerably better) but won't fit inside that case, forcing 2 options. Keep the case and change the cooler, or keep the cooler and change the case.

Are you sure? This looks like a 240mm slot to me.

I think a watercooler fan would help keep the processor running cooler as it's a cpu more designed for an micro ATX upwards, so I probably will look at getting an M-atx case now instead, however If there is any Mitx cases with either rgb on it or windows for rgb lighting show that you guys know of that you could recommend, that would be amazing!

How about if I went with a singular water cooling fan? , something like this and kept the case. Do you think this would keep it okay enough?

As a side question, exactly how big is an average Micro-ATX case, would it take up a lot of space on an average desk?

I can't see any reason why you would buy a case that won't fit a stock cooler, just get a different case instead of paying money for a cpu cooler when your cpu comes with one that's more than adequate. Water cooling for a non gaming machine? Really?

It's just because I don't want a chunky case on my desk and I don't want to have a full atx tower, this was the only ITX case I could find that looks aesthetically good in videos, If I don't necessarily need a water cooling fan then that's fine, but I guess I still need a decent performing fan to keep the cpu from overheating or heating up a bit too high. I have pasted a link to a singular cpu water cooling fan which if fits, I don't mind paying for it.

However I guess an micro atx wouldn't take up an enormous amount of space on my desk, but bear in mind I have to fit a monitor screen, 2 production monitor speakers, a keyboard - mouse and a 32key midi keyboard with an external audio interface all on one desk is why going for an ITX case makes sense. The desk will be 164cm in length and roughly 65cm in width, but If you think a Micro ATX would fit onto as well then maybe I could look for an Micro ATX case, but that's if the singular water cooling fan wouldn't fit either.

Because small ITX builds fit in small gaps, and don't take up half of a room. There's plenty of reasons.

This build is going to be for video editing and music production, both of which are primarily CPU intensive. This means high CPU temps, potentially higher than gaming, where a GPU can hold the CPU back from reaching 100%.

Hi Guys,

Take a look at this build then - I just went for an Micro ATX case instead for the sake of extra space

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/G7BTXP

I am using an aerocool playa RGB mid tower case, and will use the ryzen 2700 stock cooler if it'll all fit. Apprently the front air intake is restricted on this case so I may try and install some extra fans, any that you could suggest would be amazing!. I actually saved an extra £100 on this build as well, so it's not too bad

Yep, it'll certainly fit in this one.
