Does this build seem good?

I am going to help a friend build a computer in a few days, and just wanted to make sure all the components are compatible and wont bottleneck.

Intel Core i5 4670K 3.4 GHz (Haswell)

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 2GB Windforce R2

ASUS Z87-K ATX

Fractal Design Integra R2 750W 80+ Bronze

Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) CL9 1600Mhz VENGEANCE

1TB Seagate Desktop HDD 7200rpm 64MB

if anything isn't compatible with something else, please tell me and, if possible, please provide a solution to the bottleneck/problem...

You should consider saving money on the CPU by getting an AMD FX 8320 and going for the higher up gtx 770 which is a very solid GPU for its current price that should last for quite a while. Also the 8320 competes with the 4670k at multitasking and tasks like video editing and is a great CPU for the price overall. Though, all of my suggestions may have been useless as these choices depend on what he would be using the pc for and what he plans to do with it. I would highly recommend these changes though, if he is a Gamer, video editor or heavy multitasker or any combination of those.

Personally I would purchase a Solid state drive to hold your operating system which would improve your system a lot. You can use the HDD to hold your files/programs etc.

Yes this build should all be compatible and shouldn't bottleneck. As with what Samoan said, the AMD FX 8320 would be a good choice also although this would mean you need to swap your motherboard for a different board.

I have a 770 GTX GPU and the performance is amazing so I agree there it would also be a good move to upgrade and definitely worth it over the 760 GTX.

What will your friend be using the system for?

No worries, just be aware that if you do use a different CPU make sure the socket is compatible with your motherboard :)

Recommended requirements for skyrim are:

CPU: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
CPU Speed: Info
RAM: 4 GB
OS: Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit)
Video Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with 1 GB of RAM (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon HD 4890 or higher)
Sound Card: Yes
Free Disk Space: 6 GB

So yeah it should be able to play skyrim fine on highest graphics

Also the ssd suggestion is a great idea but if you can't get the money for it than just grab the hd as it is much cheaper for a large amount of storage for a gamer and then get the ssd for Christmas or black Friday or something
