Does this case have good airflow, and will it provide optimal cooling?

But, I need to know if it has good airflow. My current case has VERY VERY poor airflow and I experience high temps.

I like the design of the second one better, but the first one has more fan mounts.

Both are about same as far as cooling goes.
Just one advice, link to the manufacturer's pages, it's much more detailed there.

If you really need good air flow and good cooling I'd pick a case with a support for 140mm fans at least.

So the top mounted fans won't make a huge difference? Also, the side mounted fans won't affect airflow?

The Cougar Turbine fans are very quiet but not powerful in terms of static pressure. Grill/filter style will affect the flow with those fans. It's better to have fewer big fans with high static pressure than many small fans with low static pressure.

It looks like a powerful fan. If that comes in a PWM version and your board supports it, I would get that.

But 42dba is very very very loud^^

If you really need good airflow get a case that support a 180/200mm intake.
These fans transport more air while creating less noise
Also bigger case -> better temperature because everything has much more space.

I already have 2 of them set up as push/pull on my radiator, they're very quiet when idling. Only when I play a game, is when they get loud. Even then, I usually have a headset on, so it's not a problem at all. When they're at full speed, I can feel a truck load of air blasting out of the back of the case. It's so powerful, that the curtains behind the computer move. And it also meves the calendar hanging 3ft above the back of the pc.

Well if you're fine with it, then it's the right choice. The more powerful the better. But I couldn't stand the noise of my stock case fan @38dba. With headset on.
But if you're not bothered by it, then it's obviously the best choice for you. I wish I was the same 😀
