So I'm making a playlist of my favorite songs for a road trip, I dug up an old CD that is re-writable(hence, the RW in the question :) ) Its an old sony brand CD-RW from 2004(old, i know) It says it can hold up to 700 MB of data or 80 min of music. I read online that 700 mb is the most a CD can support, so i was wondering if i could burn mp3's onto this old disk and be able to play them in my car CD player. Does anyone know if i can, and why or why not?

Solution
If the car's stereo does MP3, it should work. Some older cars maybe picky on the RW media being used, no way to find out until you try. Nothing is gonna blow up.
