Question Does this have M.2 heat sink?

then it likely doesn't
I mean I do not know what is the exact name it would appear in the specs. Is VRM heat sink the same thing?

I am quite confused, for a same component (Nvme M.2 heat sink) it seems like it has multiple names.

These 3 below seems to mean the exact same thing, not sure if there are more names to it or not.
Nvme heat sink
M.2 heat sink
SSD heat sink

Does this motherboard has Nvme M.2 heat sink? https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-b550m-a-wifi-ii/

Someone told me this motherboard comes with Nvme M.2 heat sink, that can be installed on a [Samsung 980 Pro 7000MB/s Gen4 Nvme M.2] ssd that does not come with Nvme M.2 heat sink, but I could not find Nvme M.2 heat sink in the motherboard specs.

Thanks.
No. It does not come with one of those. The pictures clearly show what is going included and the heatsink in question is not one of those things.

That board does not come with a M.2 heatsink. You can find those heatsinks on Amazon for as little as $7.

no, its for the "Voltage Regulator Module" aka. VRM, to keep them cool.

may i ask what you're gonna do on the drive? If its light use, no constant and heavy read/writes, it shouldn't get hot in the first place to need a heatsink. (assuming enough case airflow and cooling is present)
open many browser tabs, youtube, zoom, microsoft office, open many excel/word, transfer files from phone, power on continuously without switching off, auto backup at night.
