[SOLVED] Does this look good?

Solution
It
hi, I was just wondering if this would be a decent pc for work and maybe some games for kids around ages 5 (so nothing needing a gpu) https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/Z2Jyqp
thanks
Its not bad, but can certainly be better. The CPU is good. I'd suggest getting a B450 board, the B450M Pro VDH Max is a good choice, to just have OC potential to squeeze as much as possible out of it in the long run.

And that RAM... I'd suggest G Skill ripjaws instead.

You don't need that overpowered psu. Corsair CX550 or even CX450 is great for this. Skip the CXM versions, these are better.

And instead of buying that case + that fan, I'd suggest just get a Lancool 215 instead. It's $70, so $10 more but still you get a way better case...

You can. Also get the WD Blue Nvme 500GB for $10 less than the Crucial.

Hi, thank you! I changed to a b450 board, ripjaws, and western digital ssd. For the case there isn’t a lancool 215 at my Canada computers so I’d have to stick with the matrex. Also wouldn’t a higher efficiency power supply save Money in the long run? Or is that not true?https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/vLpK2V thanks
Well not really since you're already paying so much extra for that PSU. Considering the components chosen won't draw that much power at all to make a difference, I'd say CX550 is enough. If you're trying to save every penny, then it might, depending on how long you use the PSU
