I've been looking around for a i7-8700k for my new build and stumbled across this on Amazon, the price is by far lower than anything i've seen. Is this too good to be true?

Oh man... I spent about 30 mins wondering if it was real or not and ended up missing the remaining stock. Oh well I don't mind waiting a month or so for a good price!

You'd think a legit advert would get the descriptions right, wouldn't you?
And 1-2 months delivery time also sets the alarm bells ringing, very loudly.
It's also way below the current pricing over here in the UK.
I'd say it's a scam, still, at least Amazon are good at refunding people who fall for these false adverts.

Yes all the things you've listed did ring alarm bells with me especially seeing as its almost £100 less than everywhere else and its listed on Amazon. I'm cancelling my order and will wait for deals on reliable website.

It's legit.
