Assuming you didn't get scammed and it is the https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/content/model/UM.CE7AA.001 It has AMD Freesync (which is basically the same as Gsync) which is now supported by Nvidia cards.

Here is how you enable it. Be aware some monitors require you to first enable the technology on the monitors on screen menu

It wasn't a scam and the monitor is amazing I can use gsync on this exact monitor and it works great. go in Nvidia control panel to add Nvidia gsync
