Does this motherboard have a good onboard sound driver?

I'm trying to determine where an audio issue with a new headset is coming from.

plug the headset into a phone or other mpo3 device to test the headphone separately from pc if fine then could be a Sound drive issue, configurations, hardware issue with board.

It uses the ALC892 codec (decent one, but wel... mid of the tier at best) but seems that don't have isolated audio paths or specific high quality audio components.

My bet is you could get basic quality at best from the codec but could have a lot of interferences/noise comming from unshielded paths and power supply, specially with a not very good and stable PSU.

What is the issue you have with the audio?
