Yes it will be fine - It says what it says because Windows 8 was not released when you bought your PC.

bought my pc with windows 8 im just changing my prebuilt lenovo motherboard

Then the USB3 will be fine, but if you change the motherboard you may have to re-install Windows and re-activate it. That is a different story.
